World's Smallest Car

Today I am going to tell you all about a car which was listed in the 2010 Guinness World Records addition as the smallest production car ever made.

Yes, you all heard me right the smallest production car ever. It is a three-wheeled microcar which is commonly called as Peel P50. Peel P50 was originally made from 1962 to 1965 by the Peel Engineering Company. With no reverse gear, this lightweight car is provided with a handle at the rear that allows the car to be maneuvered physically when required. At 54 inch long and 39 inches and with an unladen weight of 59KGS, the P50 which is a single seater car holds the world record for its specialty of size. It now comes in two variants namely the petrol and Electric models. Its petrol models are equipped with a 49cc, four-stroke engine and electric models with an electric moped motor and gelled-electrolyte batteries. The company claims the top speed of both cars to be 45km/hr. The car has a great demand in the US area where the electric model has the maximum demand.
